i'm back!!!! did everyone missed me? i'm sure... haha!
the trip was sure a memorable 1... in a slightly unpleasant way though, i guess the best part of the trip had to be none other than the shopping. =D

let me start:
1st day -
landed in bangkok at about noon, had a mini bus all ready(thanks to my uncles college, and by the way, i went with my uncle's family and my granny, therefore, head count in total would be 9 and a baby = 10) We were greeted by my uncle's college's girlfriend(who was a friendly girl, fresh graduate, and jobless, but who cares, cos she was rich. *grinz*) and then it was an hour trip from the airport to the hotel, and the moment we checked in, we were off to shop! We went to this place called prathunam(i think) market. We headed for the plaza first(there's the plaza and the market). We spent a super long time at that area cos the things were just CHEAP! okay, so u can picture mad kids and adults brisk walking around and lugging bags of stuff. I didn't really had much from there, though i was eyeing the 3/4 pants. hehe. following that, we had dinner at a jap restaurant at the shopping mall connected to my hotel called MBK(mabrookong,or something like that) and then it was more shopping! Successfully bought my sports bras!!! haha! it was like on an average of 390 - 400 baht, which is about S$16? yup.. wacol brand, not the typical looking coloured ones, but the buckle kind, in fact they had 3 buckles, not wad i had in mind, but its good. or at least my aunt said it was high quality stuff which can't be found in s'pore, which is true. :)
so much for 1st day. oh, i think i forgot to add that i shared a room with my granny and i think i snored so she couldn't sleep till bout 4a.m. oops.

2nd day -
today was sigh-seeing day. my uncle's college's gf called pun together with my uncle's college nipan brought us to this place called "ancient city" and in there are over a 100 places of interest. As in its like a short cut place to tour the whole of bangkok. They had versions of palace, temples, old villages and i even saw a prostitutes room in the past. hehe. They're palaces are just exquisite, awesome, simply captivating. Their arts were like "woah" kinda thing. So we spent half the day there and i think we only saw 10 places out of the 100? Then we headed for the reptile farm, where we saw the crocodile show, elephant show, and handicapped crocs. Those crocs were just so pitiful. There were those with additional legs, additional fingers, some tailess, some with snouted mouths and 1 blind 1. Sad huh... After the farm, we had dinner with nipan and pun and i think i nearly exploded. Tried the real tom yam soup, and we discoevered that thais generally prefer salty stuff. after dinner, it was back to the hotel to SLEEP!!! It was an exhausting day indeed.

3rd day -
Went to the infamous 4 faced buddha statue outside this shopping mall and gave our respects, following that, it was shop shop shop. on this day, my family splited from the rest cos we had to pay a visit to my dad's relative, so we arranged to be picked up at 2, so from about 12 to 2, it was shop shop shop for my family. mad rush seriously, in fact my mum and i ran cos we were erm... late... haha. so we went over to my granduncle's i guess place and ate, again. durian lychee kuah baluh, etc ,etc. now i know why i gained weight. must have been from all the eating. sheesh. after sitting there for a while, we decided to ask 1 of the relatives(the younger generation of course) to bring us to... shop! hehe... we went to a mall called "central" which was like s'pore's ngee ann city, with boutiques etc. didn't get anything from there just that i discoevered the prices in body shop at bangkok were cheaper than that in S'pore. oh! and the 1 thing u should buy in s'pore instead of bangkok are Giordano tees, the prices there are way expensive. scary... went out to dinner with the relatives after that and reached the hotel only past 12 midnight... so that was all for the 3rd day.

to be continued...
no choice, gotta rest early, have to go pick my sis up from the airport tomorrow at 6a.m.. =S
